BEMAC presents Emerge, a two-day vocal, songwriting and performance workshop facilitated by international singer-songwriter Clara Domingo, followed by a performance opportunity alongside Alma Salero and Flamenco dancer Simone Pope at Queensland Multicultural Centre on Friday, November 17.
Over two nights on Wednesday, November 15 and Thursday, November 16, extraordinary vocalist and performer Clara Domingo will guide you through making it in the music industry, your way, how to access and apply vocal techniques to reach your maximum range, songwriting strategies and performance skills.
Come and join us on a unique multicultural singing, composing and performing workshop that combines Spanish and Latin music with your own musical and cultural influences.
This workshop will help you to the next level of your emerging career. Find the power you have inside and sing it out loud! The 2-day workshop will culminate in a Friday night performance with Alma Salero at QMC.
This opportunity is only available to women and non-binary persons of all ages and cultural backgrounds. Spaces are limited and registration closes on Friday, November 3. Once spaces are filled, you will receive an email or phone call to confirm your placement.

- Wednesday Nov 15 | 6pm to 8.30pm – Meet and greet & workshop
- Thursday Nov 16 | 6pm to 8pm – Workshop & rehearsal
- Friday Nov 17 | 5pm to 9pm – Rehearsal & Live Performance from 7-8.30pm (this is a ticketed event open to the public)
